Nine Lives at BARI



Nine Lives Gallery sits above an Italian restaurant in the heart of Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, Australia. In the last 10 months since Nine Lives Gallery has been opened, we have showcased 20 local, interstate and the odd international artists in the unique space.

Old Space at BARI

Old Space operates as artist’s studios and as an exhibition venue.

Established in late 2008, Old Space studios is now home to ten practicing artists and extends to a collective of up to sixteen artists for it’s ‘one night only’ exhibitions.

Old Space was estalished to address the scarcity of affordable studio spaces in brisbane in which visual artists could work and also engage with other emerging artists.

KiLN Gallery is located at the iconic old Paddington Substation which has been transformed into a contemporary art space featuring monthly shows of some of Australia’s most exciting
artists and craftspeople. In partnership with Hands On Art, KILN aims to support upcoming artists of the highest standard and offers opportunities each year for emerging artists to exhibit alongside their more established counterparts. LoveLove at Bari




LoveLove studio is a collaborative effort with several goals; to bring peace and good will to the people via artistic expression; maintain a professional and contemporary atmosphere, and provide a community forum/venue for artistic display.

Lovelove studios’ comprise of two gallery spaces, an art and photography studio and a dance studio. Since its inception in early 2009 Lovelove studio has been host to several different shows. Ultimately this is an art/gallery studio however the space is very open to new enterprises. This is an artist run initiative and social networking establishment committed to providing a forum for emerging and successful artists in many fields.

Jugglers at BARI


Jugglers Art Space Inc is an artist run initiative that is committed to supporting emerging artists across a broad range of genres. It was founded in 2002 to address the critical shortage of exhibition and studio spaces available in Brisbane.


7 years on Jugglers now spans across 5 locations in Brisbane, providing 20 low cost studio spaces 3 exhibition spaces, an open air arts space, and a broad range of services aimed at advocating and exposing Brisbane’s best artistic talent to the broader community.
